Anita Briem and Anisa Butt
Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Anita Briesm, an Icelandic performer, is best known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman that will eventually become the spouse to Henry VIII) in the television series The Tudors. Also for her role as Hannah in the 2008 movie Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem started her career acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. When she was a young actress she appeared in a variety of plays in radio and television shows in her native Iceland. Briem was a child performer at age sixteen when she emigrated to London. She was a part of the adaptation of Lenin, in Love by The New End Theater. Briem got a spot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the year 19. For the next 3 years, she was a student at the school and graduated with a drama degree and it was awarded the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight. The actor performed in a number of shows at RADA including The Cherry Garden, by Anton Chekhov, and Bernarda Alba
